And whenever we discover this betrayal, it becomes impossible to trust that person again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>If you lie to your audience, you can never expect them to trust you. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HONESTY<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be destroyed if you falsify achievements or fabricate experience to grow your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXPERTISE<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Then, your listeners will never open up to you again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s simple.<\/span><b><i> Just tell the truth!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<h3><b>#4. <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>O<\/b><\/span><b> &#8211; Open Authority<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b><i>Having open authority is the ability to have an audience listen to you just because of who you are.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/adamchristing.com\/hire-funny-keynote-motivational-speakers\/\">As a speaker<\/a>, you already have a certain level of authority. It will be easier to establish trust and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETHOS<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if we can connect with our listeners via our similarities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;re lacking in similarities, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that&#8217;s okay too<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. That&#8217;s where <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">perceived similarity<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> comes in.
