But if you find many employees unpleasant, chances are you won&#8217;t stay long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>This leads me to my 4th tip for increasing job satisfaction:<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>BOO<\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>S<\/b><\/span><b>T Job Satisfaction #4: Strengthen the Company Culture<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is company culture?<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebalancecareers.com\/what-is-company-culture-2062000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Balance Careers defines it as &#8220;the shared values, attributes, and characteristics of an organization.&#8221;<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>How a business chooses to (or to not) <a href=\"https:\/\/adamchristing.com\/blog\/why-are-company-values-important\/\">display its values<\/a> impacts employee engagement:<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe a business lists respect, integrity, and transparency <a href=\"https:\/\/adamchristing.com\/blog\/how-to-develop-company-core-values\/\">as values<\/a> on their website. But in reality, employees experience quite the opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is inconsistent and confusing for employees.
