    Though this can sound trivial at first, there’s more that goes into being a keynote speaker<\/a> than you may realize. If you’re not thinking about how to hold a microphone effectively, you’re bound to make a fool of yourself on stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The first step to holding the microphone correctly is <\/span>knowing what kind of microphone you have<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Not all mics are created equally. And sometimes, you might not even need to actually <\/span>hold <\/span><\/i>your mic.<\/span><\/p>\n

    If you have a handheld microphone, you’ll need to consider things like<\/span> hand placement<\/b>, while you’ll need to focus more on<\/span> mic position<\/b> if you have a podium or a mic stand.<\/span><\/p>\n
